Although I do have a regular IP baby camera, it doesn't have a screen that comes with it, which is paired with a phone only. Indeed, having a handheld screen is the way to go, by a long shot. What makes the "Easy @ Home", baby monitor system so unique, is the fact that you can use the screen
wirelessly, no need to even have it plugged in always as this one charges with the cable.
Screen is large, with a 3.5 inch screen. Which has a great, clear image, with IR's for night vision capabilities. Even at night, it has a good image, I can see clearly and keep an eye on my daughter. Screen also has a kickstand in the back, which is super handy to have, I can sit it on my nightstand at night and wake up to a great view! At the top right hand corner, it has a battery that lets you know, how much "juice" it has.
Great range, I can use the monitor all throughout the house, even in some areas outside.
There is no installation, what so ever. This camera is just, "plug and play". All you have to do, is simply plug the unit into an outlet and it will
automatically show picture. You will also need to charge the screen, of course. But there is no networking, no installation period. Easy peasy.
Camera it's self has a bottom stand, that allows it to sit securely and level on a flat service.
Two-way Audio, which has a loud speaker on the screens end. Sharp, clear voice. Although you can change the volume from the menu on the screen and control other functions of this device, like brightness and so on.
Price wise, it's a heck of a deal! For an image like this, handheld screen and the whole nine yards, night vision and such.. this is a huge bargain. I have seen them priced as high as 150 in big box stores and the image is no where near comparable and doesn't have all the features as the Easy@Home Monitor does. Plus you just can't beat a 2 year warranty. My IP baby camera, cost just as much and without the screen. Really, this setup is a must have for any parent, looking for an peace of mind. I would recommend.
